Although the DVD was running around the house for months (who bought it then? Mah ..) only yesterday I happened to see "Music in my heart" , directed by Kirsten Sheridan and starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Henry VIII fascinating series "The Tudors" and faithless teacher tennis in training "Match Point" , Keri Russell, unforgotten, in my opinion- homonymous protagonist of the series "Felicity" , and Freddie Highmore, tender boy wonder already seen in "Neverland" and " The Chocolate Factory " Tim Burton. The result is a modern fairy tale that follows the contours vaguely dell'Oliver Twist by Dickens in the shape of Evan, orphaned convinced that through music to find his parents, unknown to him, and both musicians, who had wanted to share the fate after one night of love that he had been the result.

main theme of the story remains the music, heard every noise and then played with a transport from Evan / August almost in ecstasy or sang by Rhys Meyers in a voice that I found to be surprisingly good (the tear-jerker duet between the two key place in the entire film, Washington Square in New York). The soundtrack is very nice. Opera
worth seeing, at least for a good dose of hope that is able to convey with his ecstatic happy ending.
